I’m Dr. Althea Blake, an instructional designer and curriculum developer with over a decade of experience creating meaningful learning experiences. My work combines strategy, creativity, and compassion to design eLearning, presentations, and training materials that truly meet the needs of diverse learners.

I hold a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, which gives me a strong foundation in educational theory and evidence-based design. Along with advanced training in eLearning instructional design and accessible eLearning development, I’m passionate about designing courses that are interactive, intuitive, and inclusive.

I am deeply committed to creating courses that set learners up for success, bridging achievement gaps through thoughtful and intentional course design. To achieve this, I focus on the following guiding principles in every course I design:

I prioritize inclusivity by adhering to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and integrating Social and Emotional Learning concepts and Culturally Relevant Education to create an environment that supports both neurodiversity and cultural diversity.

I encourage critical thinking by providing opportunities for learners to analyze, evaluate, and apply concepts in real-world scenarios.
